From the age of three, I was introduced to the magic of books by my father, who instilled in me a love for reading that would shape my life. By twelve, I had picked up the pen, weaving stories that reflected my imagination and aspirations. Encouraged by my teachers from middle school through college, I was driven to pursue writing as more than just a passion—it was a calling. Like many dreams, mine took a backseat as I devoted myself to marriage and raising my children. Yet, the fire of storytelling never faded. I journaled, I read, and I carried my love for words in my heart.
In 2016, my father—my first literary influence—passed away. His loss reignited something within me, a reminder of the dreams I had once set aside. Writing became more than a passion; it became a purpose. I knew it was time to take my place among the voices of independent authors and bring my stories to life. Thus, Tappe Hopson Publications was born—a testament to perseverance, creativity, and the unwavering belief that stories, like dreams, should never be left untold. At Tappe Hopson Publications, I believe in the power of words to inspire, transform, and connect. My writing is built on a passion for storytelling and a commitment to bringing unique stories to life.
My Story
A Story of Faith, Strength & Purpose
Life has shaped me in ways I never imagined. As a single mother, I faced challenges that tested my strength, including homelessness while pregnant with my youngest child. In the midst of uncertainty, I encountered something profound—divine moments that led me closer to God’s guidance.
These experiences became the foundation of my mission: to encourage, empower, and uplift others who are seeking direction. I know what it means to feel overlooked, set apart, and rejected, and because of that, I have a heart for those walking that path—especially women and single mothers who are navigating their own struggles.
I understand the weight of responsibilities, the silent battles, and the resilience it takes to keep going even when the odds seem stacked against you. That’s why I am deeply committed to encouraging women to embrace their strength, their faith, and the purpose God has placed within them.
My journey is proof that faith can transform hardships into a calling. Through my story, I hope to inspire others—especially single mothers—to seek God with unwavering trust and discover the incredible purpose He has designed for their lives.
